This job is typically a 12-week assignment. Acts as a leader in patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity; maintains involvement in activities aimed at achieving unit and departmental goals; demonstrates professional responsibility and supports the company's nursing philosophy.

Education

  • Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Work Experience

  • Required: 1 year of RN experience.

Certifications

  • Required: Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
