Job summary

Lowell General Hospital, part of Tufts Medicine, is seeking a Community RN to provide direct nursing care and support to patients and families. The role requires MA RN licensure and BLS, with BSN preferred. The position involves day/evening shifts (7AM-7PM) with weekend and holiday rotation.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, guide care teams, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required.
• Experience based on level (I-IV).
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to patients and families.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care needs of a patient group.
• Uses nursing judgment to individualize the plan of care.
• Develops discharge plans and education for patients and families.
• Precepts and mentors staff and supports department development.
