Job summary

Edgewater Health Center in West Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management. You will collaborate with physicians and families to coordinate resident care and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• RN license in Iowa required.
• LTC experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management as part of routine nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Coordinate and optimize resident care with the healthcare team and families.
• Conduct admissions to Edgewater's Health Center.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and infection control to maintain a safe environment.
• Support both day and overnight shifts as listed (6:00a–6:00p, 6:00p–6:00a).
