The role requires holding an RN license, BLS, and a BSN is preferred. You will apply the nursing process, document in the EHR, and maintain safety standards while supporting patient and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state privileges in the state where the RN provides client nursing services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics and practice ethical decision-making with interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Experience with electronic health records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans.
• Upholds a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the designated service area.
• Communicates effectively and delegates appropriately.
