Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Experience: Prior clinical experience reviewed to determine acceptability.
• Licenses/Registrations: valid Multi-State RN License; if from a compact state, obtain MS RN license within 30 days.
• BLS CPR required; must be obtained within 7 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and documents a written plan of care within specified timeframe.
• Performs patient interventions completely and proficiently with age-specific competency.
• Provides appropriate treatment in emergency situations as they arise.
• Verifies orders for accuracy during hospitalization, including medication reconciliation and test scheduling.
• Follows medication and IV therapy policies including patient identification and monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Performs related duties as required.
