Piedmont Medical Network - Rock Hill Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to support diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures, ensuring quality patient care through education, standards of practice, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Previous clinical experience reviewed to determine acceptability.
• Active RN license in the state of residence (multistate) and eligibility for Compact state license transfer within 30 days.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR required, obtain within 7 days of hire.
• CPI certification within orientation.
• RN-C and psychiatric/mental health nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate consistent use of AIDET communication principles during all patient and family interactions.
• Participate in bedside handoff using SBAR to involve patients and families in their plan of care.
• Communicate delays, procedures, and changes in plan of care with patients and families; provide timely updates.
• Utilize Teach Back method to confirm understanding of medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Perform patient interventions completely and proficiently with age-appropriate competency.
• Performs related duties as required.
