Job summary

Harrisonburg Health & Rehabilitation Center in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team. As an RN, you will provide high-quality care, supervise CNAs, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to help residents regain independence.

We offer competitive pay starting at $40/hr (commensurate with experience), high shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, a $10,000 retention bonus for full-time, 12-hour shifts, and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

Active RN licensure (Virginia) required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of nursing assistants (CNAs).
Provide individualized nursing care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
Explain procedures and treatments to gain patients’ cooperation.
Observe vital signs to detect deviations and gauge progress.
Maintain patients’ medical records and care plans.
Observe emotional stability and prepare patients for continuing care after discharge.
Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care.
