Job summary

Northwest Health - Porter is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the IMCU on day shift. This full-time role offers 36 hours weekly with 12-hour shifts (7a-7p) and a patient-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• State RN licensure and BCLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Documents patient assessments and reports changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and nurses to develop care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions.
• Documents care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
