Job summary

Valley Health System in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, compassionate nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards. This role includes professional leadership and support to the healthcare team and oversight of staff under supervision.

The nurse will demonstrate Service Excellence and may be required to float to at least three VHS facilities as needed to support patient care across the network.

Qualifications

• RN license in the State of Nevada
• Current BLS Certification required
• ACLS for adult patients or PALS/NRP as department requires
• Crisis Management Course as required by facility

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and philosophy
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team
• Oversee and guide employees under supervision and float to a minimum of three VHS facilities
