Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking an RN II – Pediatrics for a 13-week contract at a California hospital. Night shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 12-hour shift cycle. The CNA-represented position offers experience in pediatric care across age ranges and a supportive team environment.

You will provide pediatric nursing care from newborns to adolescents, administer medications, supervise staff, and float to NICU as needed. The role includes policy adherence and patient-family education.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California.
• Minimum 2 years pediatric nursing experience.
• BLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• NRP certification.
• CNA-represented position.

Responsibilities

Location: California, 93405
Contract Dates: May 3, 2026 – August 1, 2026 (13 weeks)
Pay: $1,962 – $2,203/week

Schedule:

Night shift (2nd 12-hour shift rotation)

7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shift equivalent)

Participation in orientation, training, and unit education required
