Job summary

Qualifications

• Twelve months RN experience in a healthcare environment
• Texas RN licensure or eligibility to obtain within 60 days (if establishing Texas residency)
• BLS/ACLS/NIH Stroke certifications required (AHA)
• Demonstrates professional nursing competencies and patient advocacy

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and assessments for patients
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional care team to plan and coordinate care
• Lead unit activities, participate in governance, and serve as preceptor when appropriate
