Cardinal Health, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse for the cCARE Cancer Center in Encinitas, CA. The role emphasizes assessment, education, prevention, and restoration of health, with compassionate, culturally sensitive patient care.

The RN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, float as needed among San Diego offices, and support end-of-life comfort care when indicated. Onboarding includes potential Oncology certification after training.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (diploma/ADN/BSN).
• Pass NCLEX-RN and hold active state license.
• Willing to float among San Diego offices if needed.
• Oncology nursing certification to be obtained after onboarding.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient care needs and establish rapport with patients and families.
• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Ensure safe medication administration and infection-control practices.
• Document care in patient records and maintain continuity of care with the nursing team.
