Qualifications

• Twelve months RN experience in a healthcare environment.
• RN licensure in Texas with PSV Compact and must acquire permanent Texas license within 60 days.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required within specified timeframes (AHA).
• English language proficiency for effective patient care communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and conduct patient assessments.
• Coordinate with physicians and interprofessional care team to facilitate treatment.
• Lead unit initiatives and may serve as charge nurse or preceptor to students/new staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and advocate for patient rights.
