Qualifications

• Education: ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Licenses: Current California RN license and BLS provider status.
• Experience: 12+ months in an acute care setting; Pharmacology and EKG test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing assessment and documents in patient record.
• Develops plan of care based on assessment and patient needs.
• Collaborates with physicians and health team to implement plan of care.
• Delivers, delegates, and coordinates care; participates in discharge planning.
• Provides patient and family teaching; supports safety and quality initiatives.
