Job summary

Salinas Valley Health is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the ICU/CCU. You will assess, plan, implement, and supervise individualized patient care in accordance with policies and the Nurse Practice Act, collaborating with physicians, families and health care teammates.

The role requires an ASN (BSN preferred), California RN license and current BLS/HCP status. Night shift with pay differentials and 0.9 FTE; training and patient education are key aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current California RN license and BLS/HCP status.
• 12+ months RN experience in acute care; Pharmacology and EKG test required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessment and document in patient record.
• Develop and coordinate plan of care with physicians and health team.
• Provide discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
