Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: ASN required, BSN preferred.
• Licenses: California RN license and BLS/Healthcare Provider.
• Experience: 12+ months in acute care; pharmacology and EKG tests may be required.
• Pay range: $73.62–$89.49 per hour; night/day shift differentials apply.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing assessment and documents in the patient record.
• Develops a plan of care based on patient assessment.
• Collaborates with physicians and health team on the care plan.
• Initiates and coordinates the plan of care and discharge planning.
• Provides patient/family teaching and monitors response to care.
• Acts as preceptor/charge nurse as assigned.
• Maintains safety and quality through policies and performance improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
