Job summary

Harris Health is seeking a Nurse Clinician II (NCII) to provide proficient nursing care in the assigned clinical area in Harris County, Texas. The NCII applies standards, principles, and algorithms to patient care and works independently while recognizing when to seek support.

The position requires a BSN preferred or a Diploma in Nursing, Texas RN licensure, AHA/Red Cross BLS, and 1 year of RN experience or GN program completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Diploma in Nursing; Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse; Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
• Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program.
• Other certificates as required by unit/service.
• Work Experience: One year full-time RN experience or completion of GN Program.

Responsibilities

• Independently and safely manages patients in assigned clinical area.
• Recognizes when he/she needs assistance and seeks appropriate resources.
• Work Schedule: Weekends, Holidays, Flexible, On Call.
