Job summary

Harris Health seeks a Nurse Clinician II to provide clinical practice in line with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and HCHD Nursing Service. The NCII will independently manage patients with common problems in their assigned area and will know when to seek help and consult resources.

Requirements include an RN license in Texas, BLS certification, and either one year of RN experience or completion of a GN program.

Qualifications

• RN license issued by the State of Texas
• BLS certification from an AHA or Red Cross approved program
• One year full-time RN experience or GN program completion

Responsibilities

• Meet standards for professional practice specified by Texas Nursing Practice Act and HCHD Nursing Service
• Independently and safely manage patients with problems common to assigned clinical area
• Recognize when you need assistance and seek appropriate resources
