Harris Health System in Texas is seeking a Nurse Clinician II (NCII) to provide safe, nurse-led care in an acute and primary care setting. The NCII will manage patients within the assigned clinical area, applying standards and clinical algorithms to ensure quality outcomes.

Required are RN licensure in Texas and BLS; a BSN is preferred, with a Diploma acceptable. Weekend, holiday, and on-call work may be required in this role at Harris Health facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Diploma in Nursing; Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse; Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
• Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program.
• Other certificates as required by unit/service.

Responsabilités

• The NCII independently and safely manages patients with problems common to patients in his/her assigned clinical area; recognizes when he/she needs assistance and seeks appropriate resources.
• Applies standards, principles, and algorithms to clinical situations to meet professional practice standards.
