Job summary

Adventist Health Twin Cities in Templeton, CA seeks an RN II for the Emergency Room on a 13-week assignment. Night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, pay $65–$70 per hour. California RN license required; 1 year of acute care experience and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are essential.

Epic experience and NIHSS and TNCC within 6 months of hire are required. TNCC within 6 months; duties include triage, med administration, IV therapy, and rapid response to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience.
• Epic experience required.
• TNCC required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• NIHSS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients from newborns to geriatric populations.
• Perform triage assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and provide IV therapy.
• Recognize and respond to cardiac, respiratory, and other medical emergencies.
• Participate in Code Blue, Code Stroke, sepsis, and trauma activations.
• Document patient care and discharge instructions accurately.
