Job summary

Texas Health HEB invites qualified RNs to join the Cardiac Stepdown team in Bedford, TX. This full-time Night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) position offers a team-based environment and comprehensive benefits.

Required RN licensure, minimum nursing diploma, 1 year RN experience or residency, and cardiac care exposure. Certifications (BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI) are required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

  • Nursing diploma required or higher.
  • 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
  • Previous Cardiac experience preferred.
  • RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required.
  • NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days required.
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Training maintained annually 90 days required.

Work hours: Full Time (36 hours/week), Night Shift 7:00pm – 7:00am
