Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Therapeutic Apheresis Center seeks an RN to support bedside and ambulatory procedures, including plasma and red blood cell exchanges, stem cell collections, and lipid apheresis. The role includes involvement in research activities and on-call coverage.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), an active Maryland or Compact RN license, and BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required (AHA/Red Cross/Military Training Network accepted).
• Ideal candidate will have 18 months of RN work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside and ambulatory care in the Therapeutic Apheresis Center.
• Assist with plasma and red blood cell exchanges, stem cell collections, lipid apheresis.
• Support cutting-edge research and procedures across departments; on-call RN for emergencies.
