Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital is seeking an RN for night shift care in a high-acuity setting. You will provide direct nursing care, update care plans, monitor patients, and administer medications, while coordinating discharges and educating families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• One year of current acute care RN experience (military RN experience may be considered)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
