Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, OH seeks an RN for ICU Stepdown to provide direct nursing care for high-acuity pulmonology and cardiac patients. You will monitor conditions, implement care plans, administer medications, and coordinate discharges in a supportive team environment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, 1+ year acute care RN experience, and current RN license with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• 1+ years of current acute care RN experience; military RN experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs; educate patients and families.
