Mercy Hospital – W Memorial Rd is seeking a Part Time, Nights, 24 hours per week RN to support our ICU Step Down unit. This high-energy 32-bed unit serves patients transitioning from ICU with higher acuity needs, including neurological, medical, and surgical cases in a Comprehensive Stroke Center program.

Qualifications include a nursing degree from an accredited school, RN license in the hiring state or a compact licensure, and BLS certification. BSN is preferred but ADN is acceptable.

• Provide nursing care on the ICU Step Down unit.

Overview:

This high-energy 32-bed unit is in the critical care service line, which serves patients transitioning out of Intensive Care and/or patients requiring a higher level of care. Our higher acuity population is primarily comprised of neurological, medical, and surgical patients. With our neurological specialty, we are a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center program.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• Preferred Education: Prefer BSN but ADN is acceptable
• License: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
