Job summary

Allegheny Health Network Canonsburg ICU is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts. The 8-bed unit provides critical care and step-down services, caring for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, and complex conditions.

You will work with PCTs, hospitalists, intensivists, and TeleICU to deliver high-quality care. Candidates must hold PA RN licensure (or multi-state via eNLC) and possess required clearances and CPR.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Clearance.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurses (RNs) in this department manage complex conditions across various specialties, including cardiac, pulmonary, infectious disease, neurology, nephrology, and GI. RNs in this department frequently care for patients experiencing sepsis, respiratory failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, substance abuse withdrawal, and much more.
