Job summary

Scripps Green Hospital ICU in La Jolla is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shift. The RN provides direct patient care in the ICU, collaborates with the care team, and supports evidence-based practices.

This position offers a 12-hour night schedule, a 72 hours per 2-week pay period, and eligibility for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K to aid relocation and onboarding. You will monitor patients, implement care plans, and participate in rounds with emphasis on

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care within the scope of your practice.
• Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
• With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Our 24-bed mixed ICU poses a great challenge to make sure you keep yourself updated on best practices and different patient populations. We are a teaching facility with in-house Intensive Care Pulmonologist that manage our patients closely with nursing collaboration.
