Below are the job qualifications and minimum requirements:

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience as an RN in a direct patient care setting (unless entering the Nurse Residency Program)

Minimum Education

• Associate degree in Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred)

Required Skills

• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and handle stressful environments

Certifications

• BLS (Required)
• ACLS within 6 months of hire if needed

Licenses

• Valid RN license in Texas or a valid Compact license

Under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Unit Director, perform nursing duties, plan and evaluate patient care, and ensure continuity across shifts. Participate in ongoing education and departmental activities.
