Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our acute care team in Tallahassee, FL. You will provide direct and coordinated patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comfort, safety and excellent outcomes.

Required credentials include an active Florida RN license and an Associates Degree in Nursing; a BSN is preferred. A minimum of 3 years acute care nursing experience and BLS/CPR certification are required.

• Assume direct and indirect responsibility for the patient's care environment.
• The primary responsibility is to provide care through collaboration with health care team members and the autonomous application of the nursing process.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and role modeling for other members of the health care team.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordination and delegation of care in a safe, secure and clean environment.

What You’ll Need To Apply

Required Education

• Associates Degree in Nursing

Preferred Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years acute care nursing experience

Required Certification/License/Registry

• Current license to practice as an RN in Florida
• Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited instructor from the American Heart Association (AHA) and/or other specialized life support requirements designated by work area.
