Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and coordinated patient care within a team-based environment in Tallahassee, FL. The RN will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and mentor junior staff while supporting TMH’s clinical excellence.

The role requires an ADN (Bachelor’s preferred) and an active Florida RN license. BLS/CPR certification is required, with no prior experience necessary and 2–5 years’ RN experience preferred for

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current license to practice as an RN in Florida is required.
• BLS/CPR certification from a recognized instructor (AHA or equivalent) is required.
• No previous experience is required.
• 2–5 years’ RN experience is preferred.

• Provides care through collaboration with healthcare team members and the autonomous application of the nursing process.
• Leads, mentors, and role models for other members of the healthcare team.
• Coordinates and delegates care in a safe, secure, and clean environment.

• Uses evidenced-based practice and information technologies to provide comfort, relieve pain, and alleviate anxiety.
• Follows the Florida Nurse Practice Act and TMH policies and requirements.

What You’ll Need To Apply

Required Education:

• Associates in Nursing

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Required Experience:

• No previous experience required

Preferred Experience

• 2-5 years’ experience as RN

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Current license to practice as an RN in Florida
• Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited instructor from the American Heart Association (AHA) and/or other specialized life support requirements designated by work area.
