Department: Intensive Care Unit

Status: Full Time, 3 x 12’s

Shift/Schedule: Night Shift, 6:45pm – 7:15am

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses (RN) play a pivotal role within Baylor Scott & White Round Rock Medical Center. The ICU nurses care for both ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC) patients on a 26-bed mixed acuity unit with 6 dedicated CVICU beds. Typical ratios include 1:1 for high acuity patients, 1:2 for general ICU patients, and 1:3 for IMC patients. Our ICU level patients include MICU and CVICU cases. The ideal candidate has at least one year of ICU RN experience; two years preferred.

Baylor Scott & White Round Rock hospital is equipped with 101 beds, a Level II Trauma Center, and Level IV Maternal Designation. This full-service hospital offers a broad network of medical expertise and resources, including specialty clinics and a cancer center providing over 40 specialties. The hospital has achieved Magnet recognition for nursing excellence, teamwork, and patient care quality, emphasizing our commitment to healthcare excellence and our staff’s dedication.

We are expanding! Current projects include a NICU addition and growth in departments such as Medical Surgical, Cath Lab, Pharmacy, and Laboratory.
