Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care following nursing standards and scope of practice.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate updates to physicians.
• Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform clinical treatments.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Communicate patient status to the care team, patients, and families.
• Assist with activities of daily living and collaborate across disciplines for comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families tailored to their needs.
• Advocate for patient well-being.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including duties of CNA, MA, or LPN as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and committees.
• Adhere to hospital policies and dress code.
• Work scheduled shifts, including overtime and on-call as required.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work under stress and take appropriate actions.
• Certifications: BLS required within 30 days; ACLS and PALS within 6 months; TNCC preferred.
• Current RN licensure for Tennessee or valid compact license with filings completed within 30 days.
