Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Buda. The role covers a 3x12 schedule with day shifts (7am - 7pm) on a blended Main Nursing Unit serving Med-Surg, Orthopedics, Intermediate Care and Critical Care populations.
Ideal candidates will have ICU experience and be willing to take Med-Surg, Telemetry, or IMC assignments as needed, with a commitment to teamwork and high patient care standards across all acuity levels.

Baylor Scott & White - Buda features a 15-bed Main Nursing Unit which is a blended unit with three levels of acuity and operates from a multidisciplinary approach in providing the highest standards of nursing care to patients and families. The facility also offers 24/7 emergency services (an 8-bed Emergency Department) and surgical services (offering adult and pediatric surgeries).

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
