Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at the College Station campus. You will work nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in a fast-paced ER, assessing, prioritizing, and coordinating care for adult and pediatric patients.
Responsibilities include creating and adjusting care plans, educating patients and families, and collaborating with physicians, APPs, and staff to ensure safe dispositions. Self-scheduling supports flexible, patient-centered care delivery.

Hours: 36 hours per week

Patient Population: Adult and pediatric patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions, including medical, surgical, cardiac, trauma, and acute care needs.
As an RN in the Emergency Department, you will provide timely, compassionate care to patients with varying levels of acuity. You will work in a fast-paced environment alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, technicians, and other members of the healthcare team to assess patients, prioritize care, respond to changes in condition, and coordinate treatment and disposition.

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
