Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the ICU at Avita Galion Hospital in Galion, OH. This full-time role focuses on patient-centered critical care, coordinating care across shifts and guiding nursing staff.

A commitment bonus of up to $25,000 is offered along with comprehensive benefits, PTO, and retirement options. Required Ohio RN licensure, BLS and ACLS; ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Two (2) or more years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for patients on the unit.
• Ensure continuity of care between shifts; supervise CNAs, LPNs and support staff.
• Provide patient and family teaching; advocate for patients.
• Collaborate within the care team to deliver high-quality care.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICUDepartment at our Galion location.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.
