Job summary

Bitterroot Health in Hamilton, Montana is seeking an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to deliver expert nursing care to patients across age groups in a fast-paced ICU. You will document in the EMR, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Required ACLS and PALS, ECCO within one year, and a Montana or compact license, with at least one year of acute care experience. This role is based on site in the Bitterroot Valley.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure: Montana license or compact license in good standing.
• Certifications: ACLS and PALS required; ECCO within one year of hire.
• Job skills: English communication and basic computer skills.
• Experience: minimum of one year of acute care nursing; ICU experience preferred.

Intensive Care RN opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Registered Nurse position in our Intensive Care Unit. Provide professional nursing care to patients with various acuity across the age spectrum. Evaluates the nursing process and documents findings in the EMR. Directs patient care activities, collaborates with ancillary staff and communicates with providers and co-workers regarding patient conditions. Participates in quality and performance improvement projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing BSN or ADN, current Montana or compact license per Montana Board of Nursing Regulations. License in good standing without disciplinary action or investigation.
• Licensure and Certifications: ACLS and PALS required, Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO) within one year of hire.
• Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, and basic computer skills required.
• Experience: minimum of one year of recent acute care nursing experience, critical care nursing experience preferred or ICU RN Residency Program
