Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specialized in Critical Care for a night shift position in Virginia. This 13-week contract role requires experience in a high-acuity ICU, with shift hours 19:00-07:00.

You will care for critically ill adults in a 10-bed unit and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care. Requirements include 2+ years of CCU nursing, current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with Meditech EHR is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care/Medical ICU for a night shift position. This is a 13-week contract role, ideal for candidates with a strong background in critical care nursing.

Schedule

Shift: Nights, 19:00 - 07:00 (1845 - 0715)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for critically ill adult patients in a 10-bed ICU unit.
• Monitor and manage patient health, including administering medications and treatments.
• Ensure optimal patient outcomes through diligent assessment and intervention.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and coordinate patient care efforts.
• Float to Medical-Surgical Unit, Progressive Care Unit, or Telemetry as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with Meditech electronic health record (EHR) is preferred.
• Community hospital experience is an advantage.
