Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a skilled ICU RN for Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. The role involves coordinating nursing care, teaching patients and families, and leading a diverse care team in the ICU.

The position offers 36 hours per week with an Evening/Night shift (7:15pm–7:15am) and weekend/holiday rotation, ensuring meaningful patient impact and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive, community-focused health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) also required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from vaccination per policy by signing a waiver.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients under direction of the Manager or designee.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with nursing and patient care teams to maintain professional standards.
• Care for patients appropriate to their age group.

Hours: 36hrs

Shift: Evening/Night shift, 7:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or Designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patient regularly, served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Over three months up to and including one year experience is preferred.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) also required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $40.35 - USD $71.76 /Hr.
