Job summary

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care, administer meds, and monitor patients. The role collaborates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to support medical and nursing plans of care.

Required RN licensure in Tennessee (or compact state), BLS; ACLS within 6 months; 1–2 years nursing experience; ICU experience preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• BLS required.
• ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non-ICU area.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• One to two years clinical nursing preferred.
• ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.
• Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered nurses provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurse is responsible for collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limited to: assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.

What you will do in this role:

• You will provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.
• You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
