Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an ICU RN for a 16-week assignment in a high-acuity environment. The nurse will work night shifts (12 hours) with weekend coverage, handling critically ill patients and complex trauma cases in a level 2 trauma center. Experience with arterial lines, ventilated patients, and stroke care is required.
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and LA Fire Card certifications are required. A valid compact nursing license is necessary.

Description:This is an intense environment requiring high acuity care.The unit serves a diverse patient population and includes overflow beds.Candidates must have experience in a level 2 trauma center and a thrombectomy-capable stroke center.Key responsibilities include managing critical patients, administering emergency medications, and monitoring complex medical conditions.Skills in Arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and managing multiple systems organ dysfunction are essential.Familiarity with charting systems, specifically Epic, is preferred.Floating between similar units may be required.Weekend coverage is included in the schedule.The ideal candidate will be part of a supportive and collaborative team.
