Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA is seeking an experienced Critical Care RN for the ICU unit at Charlton Memorial Hospital. The role involves coordinating total nursing care, patient and family teaching, and working with a busy team during Eve/Night shifts with weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• RN Experience is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement by signing a statement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with nursing and other patient care team personnel.
• Ensure adherence to age-appropriate standards of care and clinical protocols in the ICU.

We are searching for an EXPERIENCED CRITICAL CARE RN for the ICU unit

Hours: 36hrs

Shift: Eve/Night, 7:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

The ICU cares for our critically ill medical surgical patients. We support very busy orthopedic, pulmonary and bariatric surgical populations. The CCU - Cardiac Critical Care Unit, specializes in cardiac surgery and support one of the busiest Cardiac Catheter Labs in Massachusetts. We offer specialized training for many cardiac devices. We are proud of our patient to nurse ratios, nurse-driven protocols, orientation program, and 24-hour resource and support.

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• RN Experience is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
