Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital located in Edina, MN!
This multi-diagnosis Intensive Care Unit cares for critically ill patients 18 years and older. We see approximately 8-10 open heart surgical patients per week as well as other major surgical patients, acute respiratory failure, OD / withdrawal, medical and surgical neuro and minimal trauma. We provide Telemedicine ICU services for the system and take care of patients with IABP, Impella, hypothermia therapy, and CRR T. H however, we do transfer patients requiring LVAD or ECMO to the University of MN.
This position will be working .75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks), the shift length will be 12 hours on the night shift (7pm-7:30am). This position will also work a rotation for every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
