Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for the ICU on a 13-week assignment in Dickson, TN. Shift is 19:00–07:00 (12 hours). The unit runs 36 hours per week with weekend rotations and requires an active RN license and ICU experience.

ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications are required. Strong critical thinking and communication skills are essential to support patient care in a six-bed ICU with emphasis on central lines, arterial lines, and respiratory support.

Description:The ICU has a total of 6 beds.Patient ratios are primarily 2:1, with some instances of 1:1 and 3:1.The unit is staffed with 1 Nurse Tech.Equipment includes Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG.Documentation is performed using Meditech.Scheduling requires 36 hours per week, with every other weekend included.There is a floating policy to ICU overflow units.Essential procedures performed on this unit include central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation.The facility is recognized for high quality and staff engagement.Recent advancements include the newest GE ICU monitors and an expanding service line and acuity.There is a newly approved expansion that will double the ICU's capacity.
