Join* Baylor Heart & Vascular Hospital (BHVH)* Dallas as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac ICU and be part of something better! $10k Sign on Bonus! Full-Time Night Shift 7p-7a 1 years related Tele experience required to be considered. Must have 2 years related experience to be considered for $10,000 sign on bonus. *Patient Population:* Post Cardiology Interventional, Post Vascular Surgical/Interventional, Advanced heart Failure. True Cardiac ICU- CRRT, Impella, Swan, AIBP, etc. **No open hearts, CABG, or ECMO. This unit operates as a Cardiac Universal Bed (CUB) in that they have Cardiac ICU and Cardiac Telemetry patients. All nurses on the unit must be comfortable caring for both. *Required Experience: *Candidates *MUST *have minimum of 1-year recent, full time ICU RN experience. *Shift:* FT/Nights | 7p-7a | Three 12hr shifts per week, rotating weekends *Patient Ratios:* 1:2 ICU and 1:4 Tele * * *About Us* At Baylor Scott & White Health, we promote well-being for everyone. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. * * *What You'll Do* * You, as an RN, will conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes. * Building relationships, managing discomfort, staying professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and families. * Creating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving issues. * You will help educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly. * Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan. Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly. * You'll use different strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff. Recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery. * Achieve goals through teamwork, recognize contributions, commit to growth.
