Responsibilities

• Provides individualized patient care and coordinates care delivery for patients of all ages
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes
• Completes and documents age-specific assessments to support care plans
• Collaborates with patients, families, and teams to develop and adjust care plans
• Administers treatments and medications accurately and documents care in EMR system
• Identifies and addresses patient and family education needs
• Participates in performance improvement and quality initiatives
• Advocates for patients and supports their rights and psychosocial needs
• Demonstrates clinical competence in a dynamic ambulatory care environment
• Supports efficient patient flow and resource utilization

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus when successful candidate meets applicable guidelines. The position does require occasional travel to other clinics for staffing needs. This role collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes. This position is full time, working Monday-Friday 8a-5p

What We Require:

• Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing required.
• Experience: None.
• Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required or eligibility to obtain licensure required.
• Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area.
• Other Minimum Qualifications: Keyboarding skills and computer literacy required, including use of electronic medical records.
• Career Advancement Program: RNs are eligible to participate in the Career Advancement Program (CAP) to attain various levels of advancement based on performance criteria.

Compensation Range: $27.70 - $41.55 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
