Job summary

Saint Francis Health System - Yale Campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a Registered Nurse I to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process in line with hospital standards and unit policies. The position is full time on days (7a–7p) with every other weekend per policy.

Requires a basic nursing education and a valid multi-state or Oklahoma RN license; 0–6 months experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing and holds a diploma or degree.
• Valid multi-state or Oklahoma RN license.
• 0–6 months related experience.
• Knowledge of disease state management, clinical pathways; strong communication and organization skills.
• Ability to be detail oriented and to analyze clinical and numerical data.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Documents steps of the nursing process and uses proper medical terminology.
• Collaborates with other disciplines and coordinates patient discharge with referrals and education.
• Supports unit and hospital goals through education and quality initiatives.
