Job summary

Qualifications

• Has completed basic professional curricula of a nursing program and holds/d eligible for RN licensure.
• Valid multi-state or Oklahoma RN license.
• 0–6 months related nursing experience requested.
• Knowledge of disease state management, psychosocial models, and clinical pathways.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to organize and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Documents steps of the nursing process and uses proper medical terminology.
• Coordinates discharge planning and referrals with patient education tools.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to meet unit and hospital goals.
• Participates in quality initiatives and educational activities as evidenced by in-services and variance reports.
