Job summary

Conway Regional Health System seeks a Registered Nurse with middle management responsibilities to coordinate shift staffing and ensure safe patient care. The role includes coordinating personnel across departments and elevating safety and emergency measures as needed.

The RN functions in an administrative capacity when administrative officers are not on site and must maintain Arkansas licensure while delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Three years nursing experience.
• Minimum of two years proven management experience preferred.
• ACLS course preferred.
• Requires full range of body motion including lifting 50 pounds or more and standing/walking.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.

Overview

A Registered Nurse who exhibits competency in middle management skills and is responsible and accountable for an assigned shift. This includes the coordination of personnel from various departments to meet patient care needs, the implementation of safety and emergency measures, and facilitation of communication among the health care team, patient, and family members. This RN functions in an administrative capacity when administrative officers are not available on site. Registered nurse with current Arkansas licensure.

Safety Sensitive Position:

This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.

Qualifications

Three years nursing experience. Minimum of two years proven management experience preferred. Successful completion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course preferred. Requires full range of body motion including lifting a weight of 50 pounds or more, and requires standing and walking. Requires corrected vision and hearing in normal range. Must be able to work around frequent interruptions and able to cope with stress. Excellent verbal and written skills. An ability and willingness to work with patients’ growth and development needs over the entire life span.
