Job summary

West Anaheim Medical Center, a Prime Healthcare facility in California, is seeking an experienced House Supervisor RN for per diem shifts. You will assume administrative responsibility for department service functions on your shift and oversee care delivery across the hospital.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring efficient operations and patient flow, and assisting with after-hours procedures and standby call coverage.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certificate required at hire; maintain current.
• ACLS certificate required within 30 days of hire; maintain current.
• Minimum of three (3) years acute care nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes administrative responsibility for department services on shift.
• Directly supervises and supports staff house-wide.
• Ensure efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital.
• Assist medical staff with scheduling after hour procedures and standby call staff.
• Enhances the patient/family experience with explanations of hospital policies.
