Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor in Avondale, AZ. This role provides leadership, coordinates staffing, and ensures clinical operations meet policy and standards of care.

Responsibilities include supervising daily tasks, guiding the care team, coordinating admissions and transfers, and serving as a liaison with physicians and administration to maintain quality patient care and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from a Nursing School.
• Three years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in Arizona; CPR and ACLS required or must obtain within six months of hire.
• BSN preferred; management experience and supervisory experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily tasks and staffing to ensure smooth unit operation.
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, bed assignments and physician orders.
• Act as an administrative representative in the absence of department directors.
• Mentor staff and monitor performance to maintain quality patient care.
• Ensure adherence to policies, standards of care and regulatory requirements.
